Dr. Severson received his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he earned the distinction of chief resident during his final year. He later returned to UCLA to complete his fellowship in Pain Management where he trained under world renowned pain physician, F. Michael Ferrante, M.D. Dr. Severson is board certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. |

Dr. Bretz received his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City where he received multiple honors during his training. After practicing anesthesia for several years, Dr. Bretz returned to the University of Utah where he completed an accredited fellowship in Pain Management. While there he worked alongside internationally respected leaders in the specialty, including two previous presidents of the American Pain Society. Dr. Bretz is board certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. |
